No more doom and gloom please

So I am amazed, we are not going to buy the 42” TV as the latest fashion or to be up with the neighbors, but if the 37” TV we have now breaks, and I do not think it was built to last that long, I think we will end up buying another, same with our kettle, I am not going to waste energy boiling water in a sauce pan, I want to eat and the food to have taste, I need a place to live and all the things that requires, water, electric etc.

So if I am not unique, why is ‘someone’ in an office somewhere deciding that I am going to suddenly stop living?

We talk about debt, we talk about Billions and Trillions, I do not know how many zeros that is, but I do know it is in a record somewhere, some computer in some office and most of it is now in the hands of the governments of the countries that are taking over their banks.

So what is everyone panicking about now? Oh, yes, bills, who is going to pay them, well, the same people who paid them before, now I am not talking about the inflated numbers of vintage cars or diamond watches, I am talking about the fuel bill, the mortgage and the basic bills and I am also taking about the basics for living like food, transport, clothes and other necessities.

Oh, they can not pay anymore because they have no job, um - why do they not have jobs?

Yes, I remember, the ‘someone’ in an office somewhere who has decided I am going to suddenly going to stop living.

Who is this ‘someone’? The person panicking that the world will end and that the only way to save their job is to fire everyone in the company but themselves, well actually it is a lot of people like that in many offices.

Their friends in the banks agree with them and stop lending them money to keep the business going, after all, if they …. No, the circle ends here, Banks start lending, see that people will buy if they have jobs, they will have jobs if the companies keep open and employ people.

And the 00000000000000000000000000000000 is still there, on a machine in an office and will be dealt with by the governments who have taken it into the national debt, not today but when the zeros truly have meaning, as a bargaining chip or something else.

Simple? Too simple? No, not actually, the whole thing rests on the words on the piece of paper that says ‘I promise to give the barer ….’, in which ever country the paper is made and used, the same idea applies, yes, idea, it is all in our heads, so are the 00000000000000000000000000000, but put the zeros aside and go with the idea.

Lets do a ‘Do Over’, a start again and put some rules in their that will not make it easy for schmucks to work the system and only the truly professional con man / crooks who have to work really hard to trick us and steal from us, we have made it too easy, we made it legal for gamblers to gamble with the non gamblers money by lifting the rule that separated Mortgage banks and Investment banks.

We made sure that Insurance Sales people understood that if they left the company or the sale did not continue that we would pull back all the bonuses / fee they were given, lets do that to these gamblers, create the penalty clause and make them feel the risk, make them investigate and question and not take the easy ways of the past.
